ELAS team at 2. Balkan Sourcing Conference: "Shopping can build bridges"
The more than 400 participants of the 2nd Balkan Sourcing Conference have drawn a positive conclusion in the IHK Dortmund on Thursday. "About 45 German buyers met with 125 suppliers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia and Albania", informed Olaf Holzgrefe, Head of International Business Development & Affairs of the Federal Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics e.V. (BME). Ten other German companies took the opportunity to establish direct business contacts at the event. Overall, more than 500 B2B talks came about. The second Balkan sourcing conference was organized by BME, BMWi, BMZ, GIZ and - organized by the AHK Serbia and the IHK Dortmund - representative of the DIHK; it is part of started in August 2014 "Shopping Initiative Western Balkans".
